This presentation will be an overview of occupational health for employers and HR professionals. Attendees will learn the many services that an occupational health provider may offer, the advantages of using a dedicated Occ Med provider, and the ways in which an Occ Med provider can improve the health and safety of the workplace, in addition to providing benefits to the employers’ bottom line.

Dan Shapiro, PA-C is the leader of the Occupational Medicine Clinic at Wilmington Health. This clinic serves employers across our region to ensure employees are safe and ready to work! Dan graduated from the Touro College PA program in New York City in 1978 and then worked in emergency medicine and urgent care from 1978 – 1996. Since 1997 he has provided care and leadership in the Occupational Medicine Field.   He has over 20 years of hands-on experience directing corporate occupational health, worker’s compensation treatment and case management, safety, and wellness initiatives.
