Toni Blount, Regional Impact Manager for myFutureNC, works intricately with communities in the Southeast region of North Carolina to increase educational attainment by awareness, data and strategy discussions. Toni earned her BS and M.A.Ed. from East Carolina University and holds a Community College Educational Leadership Certificate from UNC Wilmington. She earned the National College Attainment Network Advising Certificate and is trained in the Civic Lab Stakeholder Engagement process.
Prior to myFutureNC, Toni served three North Carolina school districts in the area of College Access and Scholarships, Early College Liaison, and the Career and College Promise Liaison to NC Community Colleges.
From a leadership perspective, Toni serves on the NC ACT Council and the National College Attainment Network (NCAN) Post-Secondary Task Force. S Toni is deeply involved in the statewide and national conversations on college admissions and financial aid, career and college promise, career development planning and workforce readiness.
